This policy explains how PhoenixBlaze Ventures Pty (we, us) handles personal information collected through darrenargyle.com and related pages, including the Exit Readiness assessment. We are an Australian business. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This is not a European GDPR notice, and we do not pretend otherwise.

Who we are

Darren Argyle trades through PhoenixBlaze Ventures Pty. This site is a business site for corporate-exit products and education. Contact for privacy matters: darren.argyle@phoenixblazeventures.com.

What we collect

We collect what you choose to give us on forms, plus limited technical data needed to run the site and measure it.

• Forms on darrenargyle.com: typically first name and email. Some forms also let you add last name, company, LinkedIn, phone or WhatsApp, and a consent tick. The Exit Readiness assessment also records your quiz score and tier so we can send the matching report.
• Paid traffic landing pages may also store advertising parameters from the URL (source, medium, campaign, content, term) so we can see which ad sent you, not so we can sell a profile of you.
• If you buy a product, the payment provider (currently Stripe) collects payment details. We receive confirmation, email and fulfilment data. We do not store full card numbers on this site.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. This comes through the site, our CRM, and analytics tools described below.

We do not need sensitive information (health diagnoses, union membership, and similar APP categories) to run these pages. The assessment asks a general health-and-energy question so the report can flag energy as a gap. Treat that as optional context, not a medical file.

Why we collect it

• To send the report, email or product you asked for.
• To reply to you and run the customer relationship, including tags that record which form you used and which score band you landed in.
• To improve the site and the offers, in aggregate.
• To measure advertising, including whether a campaign led to a form submit, once a Meta Pixel ID is installed.
• To protect the site (spam, bots, abuse).

If you only take the quiz and never submit the email form, we do not get your name or email from that quiz. The score stays in your browser unless you send the report.

Where it goes

We do not sell mailing lists. We do not rent your email to other businesses.

• Email and CRM. Form submits go to our Mautic CRM at crm.darrenargyle.com. That system stores your contact record, form answers, tags, and the emails we send. A tracking script (mtc.js) on this site helps Mautic recognise return visits after you have identified yourself.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BE9L1CR1DD) for page views and events such as starting the assessment or submitting the report form. We do not send your email address to GA4.
• Advertising. A Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel may be added later so we can measure ads and submit a Lead event when the report form succeeds. Until a Pixel ID is set on the page, that script does not load. When it is live, Meta will receive standard pixel events (at least PageView, and Lead on a successful report submit) and whatever Meta associates with your browser or logged-in account under its own terms.
• Hosting and email delivery. The public site is hosted in the ordinary way (currently Hostinger). Transactional and marketing email is sent through the CRM stack. Those providers process data as our service providers, not as buyers of the list.

Some of those processors store or access information outside Australia (for example Google, Meta, and CRM hosting). If you use the site, you understand that this overseas disclosure can happen. We do not control every server location those vendors use.

Direct marketing

If you submit a form, we may email you about the report, the Corporate Exit System, and related work from Darren Argyle. You can unsubscribe in the email, or write to the address above and ask us to stop. We will still keep what we need for a purchase you already made, or for a legal record.

Cookies and similar tools

The site uses cookies and local or session storage for basic function, analytics, CRM recognition, and (when the Pixel ID is set) advertising measurement. Paid landing pages also keep campaign parameters in session storage so a refresh does not drop them before you submit. You can block cookies in your browser. The site may then work less well, and we may not be able to send a report you asked for if the form cannot run.

We do not run a fake consent banner to dress this up as GDPR. Australian privacy law still applies. If a Pixel is added, advertising measurement on iOS and similar platforms will also follow those platforms' own rules.

How long we keep it

Contact records stay while they are useful for the relationship, a purchase, or a legal requirement, then we delete or de-identify them when they are no longer needed. Analytics data follows the retention set in GA4. You can ask us what we hold about you.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing darren.argyle@phoenixblazeventures.com. We will respond in a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to us first at that address. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Children

This site is for adults considering a corporate exit. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site, the CRM, or the advertising stack changes. The date at the top is the current version. Material changes to how we handle personal information will be reflected here.
